This is an excellent course for people to take who are interested in expanding their canoe tripping skills or are planning on moving from lake canoe trips to river trips.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"color: #000000;\"\u003eThe successful candidate is considered a beginner river canoeist, capable of performing basic shore and water-based river rescues, including self-rescue.
