Returns & Exchanges
Customers have 30 days from date of purchase to make returns or exchanges*
1. Items must have a RECEIPT, original packing slip, be in original packaging or boxes, must NOT have been worn or used, and all hang tags must still be on the items. Freight costs are not refundable.
2. Customers can return all regular priced items for a full refund.
3. Customers can return sale items discounted up to 35% off for EXCHANGE or STORE CREDIT ONLY.
4. Customers that purchase clearance items at 40% off or greater are a FINAL SALE, no exchanges or returns.
Online purchases can be returned via shipment method of your choice (with insurance), but must be accompanied by the original sales receipt (sent via email confirmation), online order packing slip, and returned to our web store within 30 days from date of purchase, at your own expense.

In-store Return or Exchange of Online orders is available at any of our 3 locations: Regina, Saskatoon and Winnipeg. Same requirements (original receipt, packing slip, inside any original packaging, & hang tags must still be attached.) Refunds will be processed in the same payment method used to place the original order.
Exchanging the same item in a different size or colour, can be done right away in store*!

Product warranties will vary depending on Brand & manufacturer.
We are your best option for dealing with warranty for The North Face. We can expedite your warranty claim usually within 2-4 weeks for most common claims as we can assess your warranty item in any of our store locations, and determine the speediest way to solve your problem. Often repairs can be completed & returned to customers in as little as 2 weeks*
(*as long as authorization or product review is not deemed necessary by the manufacturer.)
This warranty does NOT cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear & tear, or the natural breakdown of colours or materials over extended time and use. Damage that is not covered under warranty can sometimes be repaired for a reasonable rate and a fee will be charged for return shipping.
The cost of non-warranty repairs varies from one repair to another, depending on the cost of the materials and length of time it takes for us to do the repair. You will always be contacted with an estimate of the repair costs for your approval prior to having the work done.
The North Face® warranty:
All authentic merchandise from The North Face carries a lifetime warranty to the original owner of the product. If you purchase merchandise with defects in workmanship or materials, even after extended use, The North Face will repair the product without charge, or replace it, at their discretion.
We manufacture all of our products to meet our superior standards. However, regardless of how carefully you use, or how well you care for your The North Face® product, it will eventually begin to show age and wear. The North Face® warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials, regardless of the age of the product, but it does not cover normal wear and tear.
Typical turnaround time is 10 - 15 business days from the time we receive your product until it is shipped back to you. Our turnaround time may increase during our busy period (usually September through end of March) and stretch to 20 - 30 business days.
Shipment of any items for warranty must be pre-paid & insured. Prairie Summit Shop cannot be liable for lost in-bound packages. Items sent to us COLLECT, will NOT be accepted.
Only items freshly washed/laundered will be accepted to the warranty dept. Companies will NOT accept dirty items (often under provincial or state laws, and sometimes due to only the “dirty odors factor”) and we will NOT launder it for you.
So PLEASE freshly WASH whatever item you are returning for warranty reasons, or it may be refused, and returned to you at your own expense.

We can discuss with you your shipment option of sending to us, or perhaps shipping directly to the manufacturer of the product, in order to speed up the process for you. Or you can bring in your item for warranty to any of our retail store locations (Regina, Saskatoon & Winnipeg.)
· Proof of purchase is required. If the item was purchased at a Prairie Summit Shop there is no charge for shipping the item back.
· If the item was purchased elsewhere there is a $20 processing fee to cover the expenses & freight. This fee must be collected before sending the item for warranty. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Some warranty items may require Prairie Summit Shop to send back to the manufacturer for “warranty inspection & assessment”. (to determine if the item is still covered under warranty) and either repair, replace, credit, or return the item to us. There is NOT a guarantee the item WILL be covered under warranty for repair or replacement or credit.
But trust that we want to help solve your problem as soon as we possibly can. Therefore, as soon as the manufacturer contacts us, we will contact the customer to present the options available. Once we receive the returned item, or notification of a credit, we will then forward it back to the customer as soon as possible!
